We are seeking a Database Expert/Data Architect/OLAP Specialist to join a strategic and large-scale project for a government agency. The project involves modernizing the information systems for national accounts and balance of payments, making it a critical initiative for the organization. Several experts are already engaged, and we are now expanding the team. Role Overview: The exact responsibilities will be determined based on the project needs, but the expert will work as part of a collaborative team. The role requires broad expertise in database systems, ETL processes, and data architecture, particularly within Microsoft Azure and SQL Server environments. Key Information: - Work is performed using the client’s equipment. - A security clearance is required before starting. - The position must start no later than June 2025, but candidates available earlier may be proposed. - The role can be confirmed ("closed") as soon as a suitable candidate with availability is identified. Mandatory Requirements: - Extensive experience implementing data repositories (min. 1100 hours). - Experience with data repositories in Microsoft Azure environments (min. 440 hours). - Database expertise related to Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL procedure implementation (min. 440 hours). - Experience in designing and implementing ETL data transfer processes (min. 440 hours). - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Azure Data Factory (min. 440 hours). - Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data repositories for statistical purposes (min. 220 hours). - Experience using the Data Vault modeling method (min. 220 hours). Language Requirement: - Fluency in Finnish is mandatory.
