SQL Server Architect – Always On Availability Groups (AAG) Implementation Start: Estimated August 2025 Location: Remote / Option to work in Helsinki Duration: Estimation 6 months Our client is implementing a new SQL platform solution within the services of a new infrastructure provider. As part of this transition, it has been assessed that SQL Server Always On Availability Groups (AAG) best meets the requirements for business continuity and high availability. We are looking for an experienced SQL Server expert to design the architecture and implement the AAG solution, enabling the client's systems and databases to be migrated to the new infrastructure provider's services. Role Description: • Design and implementation of the AAG architecture and related server infrastructure • Collaboration with the infrastructure provider during implementation • Cooperation with the client’s technical team in preparing the migration • Documentation and knowledge transfer according to best practices We expect you to have: • Solid experience with SQL Server, especially with Always On Availability Groups • Ability to design scalable and reliable database architectures • Strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work in a client-facing role If you are a senior-level SQL Server professional and want to be part of a critical transition to a modern cloud environment, get in touch!
