Our industrial customer is looking for experienced Android developers to join their team at the Jyväskylä office. These experts will reinforce a customer team that is responsible for developing mission-critical communication service. Main tasks: - Participation to increment pre-planning, kick-off and review meetings - Attends sprint objective settings and provide acknowledgement of what is achievable over the period - Participates in daily scrums or other project meetings with other team members to discuss project status and identify any issues that may affect progress - Provides work estimates for his/her own work - Designs and documents software - Writes code that meets coding standards and best practices - Writes unit tests to ensure that all features of a product or service function correctly - Deliveries are in line with project requirements and according to DoD (Definition of Done). - Definition of Done is defined in the increment and sprint plannings for each type of tasks. Required technology skills for the work unit implementation: - Android application development - Android OS - RX programming style - Kotlin programming language - Java programming language - Knowledge of software development process including requirements, specification, implementation, testing, version control, and maintenance - Understanding and experience of agile methodologies This work requires presence at customer premises for a hybrid working mode (for example three days a week at the office in Jyväskylä). The candidates for performing this service may be subject to standard or concise security clearance in accordance with “Turvallisuusselvityslaki 2014/726”.
