This is what we are looking for:

We are looking for an AWS architect with broad set of technical skills and competencies tailored specifically to leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications. The candidate must be proficient in utilizing various AWS services, implementing scalable solutions, ensuring security, and optimizing performance. AWS core processes consists of 1: Design and Architecture 2. Application Development using AWS infrastructure 3. Application Implementation 4. Daily usage and optimization 5. Safety 6. Cost Optimization. Some examples from technical perspective: AWS Cognito, EC2 (Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud), Kubernetes, Audit, solutions for auditing purposes like AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Security and AWS GuardDuty, so knowledge around those areas would be needed. The most likely so backend coding would be needed as well. Key skills and competencies include: 1. Proficiency in AWS Services: A deep understanding and hands-on experience with a diverse range of AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFormation, Cognito, CloudWatch, managed Flink and managed Kafka. Capable of choosing and implementing the right services based on project requirements. 2. Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure: Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available cloud architectures. Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. 3. Application Development: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or Scala, or others commonly used for cloud-based application development. Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code. 4. Security Best Practices: Understanding of AWS security best practices and implementation of security measures within AWS environments. Proficient in configuring IAM roles, security groups, encryption, and managing access controls. 5. DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automation using tools like AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, or Git. 6. Monitoring and Optimization: Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS environments for performance, cost, and resource utilization using AWS monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and AWS Trusted Advisor. 7. Problem-solving and Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams. 8. Continuous Learning and Certification: A commitment to staying updated with AWS services, industry trends, and acquiring relevant AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or others to validate expertise. The ideal candidate is a multifaceted professional with a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive attitude toward adopting emerging AWS technologies. The AWS architect role is instrumental in building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions that help to drive customer’s products further. SiteFlow project is focused on building digital services for construction industry The work would be done as a hybrid where at least 50% would be close work.
