Our customer is looking for a Migration and Deployment specialist to work on a project that aims to develop a centralized system offered as a software service to reduce the technical administrative burden on higher education institutions and improve system interoperability. The project seeks to address existing challenges in the current system that hinder system integration and user experience. This role is a part of a larger team and the work is primarily done remotely in english or in finnish. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Migration and Deployment Specialist Services: • Planning and executing migration processes from legacy IT systems to the new service • Providing technical support during migration • Designing and implementing integrations • Coordinating and monitoring deployments • Creating documentation and training materials for the transition process Required Experience: • The specialist must have experience in at least three (3) IT system projects in the role of Migration and Deployment Specialist. The specialist must have completed at least 110 billable person-days across three (3) projects. Scored experience requirement: 330 billable person-days. • The specialist must have experience in the GCP environment within the Migration and Deployment scope across all of the following areas. The experience must have been accumulated in no more than five (5) different projects, with at least 200 billable person-days in total. Scored experience requirement: 350 billable person-days. 1. Implementing integrations 5. Creating documentation for the transition process • Language Requirements: o Strong written and spoken proficiency in Finnish or English. o Ability to produce documentation in English. • Certification Requirements: o The specialist must hold valid GCP certifications.
